Frequently Asked Questions
Got questions? Here are clear answers to the most common questions from creators and traders.
Is there a fee to launch a token?
No! JoltPad charges zero creation fees. Creators only pay the network gas fee required by the Robinhood Chain to deploy smart contracts. You can optionally choose an initial buy during launch.
What is the token total supply?
Every token launched on JoltPad has a fixed supply of exactly 1,000,000,000 (1 billion) tokens with 18 decimal precision. This standard cannot be altered by creators, preventing hidden mints.
Does the creator get free presale tokens?
No. Creators receive zero free token allocation. 100% of the token supply starts in the bonding curve contract (80% available for public purchase, 20% reserved for DEX liquidity). Creators must buy tokens like everyone else.
What is the 0% transfer tax policy?
Tokens created on JoltPad do not feature custom transfer taxes or blacklist functions. Transfers between wallets incur 0% protocol tax, ensuring maximum compatibility with decentralized exchanges, wallets, and indexers.
Why do I need to Approve before selling tokens?
Approving is a standard EVM security practice for ERC-20 tokens. Before the bonding curve smart contract can swap your tokens back for ETH, you must grant permission for the contract to access the specific token amount you wish to sell.
Can the creator steal liquidity or rug pull?
Liquidity is locked automatically by smart contracts. The initial 80% supply is sold via the immutable bonding curve. When the graduation target is met, the remaining 20% supply + raised ETH migrate into Uniswap v4, and the full-range LP position NFT is permanently burned/locked.
What causes trades to fail or slip?
Trades on bonding curves occur in real time. If another trader submits a transaction right before yours, the market price shifts. The default minimum-output protection (slippage guard) prevents transactions from completing if the price shifts past your tolerance limit.
Is JoltPad affiliated with Robinhood?
No. JoltPad is an independent, non-custodial decentralized application built on Robinhood Chain. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Robinhood Markets, Inc.
